Tri-Art: Professional Product Photography & Social Media Graphics

The Problem:
Tri-Art’s previous product photography lacked polish and visual consistency, which weakened brand trust and made it harder to stand out in a saturated art supply market. Without professional imagery, social media and e-commerce listings failed to communicate the premium quality of the paints.

The Solution:
I worked in a team of creatives and co-led the creative direction for new product photography, learning how to use professional studio equipment, camera settings, and lighting techniques from scratch. We experimented with controlled lighting, reflective surfaces, and colour-accurate backdrops to highlight texture, pigment vibrancy, and product details. Images were captured at high resolution for use across Instagram, Facebook, newsletters, and Shopify, ensuring the visuals were adaptable for both web and print. I also created brand-consistent templates for integrating photography into promotional graphics.

This work extended beyond static product shots—many Artist Highlight collaborations were captured in photography rather than video. I coordinated with artists and influencers to create compelling, on-brand images featuring Tri-Art paints in real-world use, helping tie the products directly to inspiring creative work. I then integrated these images into branded social media graphics, ensuring consistency in copywriting, colour palette, and layout across all marketing channels.

The Result:
The updated product photography elevated Tri-Art’s perceived value, giving the brand a clean, professional look that matched the quality of its products. On social media, crisp imagery performed significantly better in engagement and helped unify Tri-Art’s online presence across platforms.
